Finally, for all of you fraters on the fence, there is still room for you. Registration info is located on our website www.TKEalumni.org. For those of you who do not have a full foursome, don't let that stop you -- drop us an e-mail at Golf@TKEalumni.org.
Another Frater Is Top in His Field...
Frater Jim Wirken (PC '66) has been named as a Missouri Super Lawyer for 2005. This honor is reserved for the top 5% of all licensed active Missouri attorneys. In addition, Jim was recently named as the “Best of the Bar 2006” by the Kansas City Business Journal , after being voted for the honor by his peers in the legal community for the second year in a row. And as if all that is not enough, Jim still has his slot on KMBZ am Radio on Kansas City 's Morning News - Sunday Edition with Mike Shanin and also writes a weekly column for the Daily Record legal newspaper entitled: Wirken Tips: Law Office Marketing, Management and Economics.
Additional Golf News...
For those of you who are looking for a little more golf action this summer, the 4th Annual Father Joseph M. Freeman Memorial Golf Tournament is being held Monday, June 26, 2006. The proceeds benefit the Rockhurst University Athletic Department.
The committee for this event is made up primarily of Kappa Nu Alumni and promises to be a good time for all involved. Rates start at $275 for individuals, with a special rate of $150 for golfers who graduated between 1997 - 2006. For more info, contact Frater Reggie Thorpe (PC '68): comsnr@swbell.net.
Let Us Know...
If you feel that there is something you should share with the rest of the Kappa Nu alumni ranks, please send it on in: newsletter@TKEalumni.org.
In addition, continue to forward these to fellow fraters. Due to incomplete records, our e-mails are only getting to about 45% of our chapter's Alumni. You can help us update it by sending this to the fraters in your address book and encouraging them to contact me to add them to our mailing list.
